What this is
A spec build, and we will keep saying so
C&D Security & Training is not a Lumeops client. This is a brand and site we designed and built ourselves, unpaid and unbriefed, because a studio should be able to show what it does without waiting for permission.
We label it every time it appears. A spec build that gets presented as client work is a lie with a portfolio attached, and it is the reason so few agency case studies are worth reading.

The design
Dark, editorial, and built to convert
The security and training sector defaults to stock photography, high-vis yellow and a form nobody wants to fill in. We went the other way: a dark editorial layout, real typographic hierarchy, and a route to enquiry that does not feel like an interrogation.
The point of a spec build is that there is no committee. Every decision on this one is a decision we would defend in front of a paying client.
